Governance

Operation of the partnership is overseen by an Advisory Board. Its role is to:

Provide leadership of the partnership
Set specific research, educational and capability development goals for the partnership
Ensure operational guidelines and protocols are met
Receive reports on the Centre’s operations from the Director and Staff
Oversee the Operational Research and Education Committees, provide advice on research and educational directions
Sign off on partnership initiatives

Management

The Centre’s Director, Distinguished Professor Debes Bhattacharyya has responsibility for the operational management of the Centre.

The Director reports to the Advisory Board as an employee of Uniservices, the commercial arm of the University of Auckland. Line management responsibility is to the Dean of Engineering, University of Auckland.

The Director is assisted by a team of Researchers, Engineers and Polymer Consultants.
